IFMA Freestyle Motocross - "Kenny Does It Again"
Excerpt from Lurch Leers
"Cowboy Kenny Bartram took his 24th IFMA win of the year Friday night in Portland, Oregon. Although Drake McElroy qualified in the top spot he came up short by four-tenths of a point. McElroy's final run of 93.2 gave him third for the night. Ronnie Renner, unveiled his new signature song "GET LIVE," split the pair with a 93.3. Renner was trying to follow up his Triple Crown win two weeks ago in St. Louis, but came up short. He did, however, sit in the hotseat for a little while though after he knocked out local favorite Beau Bamburg.

Can rookie Adam Jones take the final round pressure? The answer was NO! He blew it with a few dead sailors. Kenny was sitting in the hot seat last and was able to hold on for his 25th win on the season. The level of riding was at an all time high. The surprise of the night was the first time viewing of a rider named Cleve Beelhart. This kid, through combinations, seemed to be out of a fairytale. This included a superman seat grab to a Cordova and a double rock solid and I mean a double rock solid let go grab and then let go grab. He has great potential so I hope to see him again. On behalf of the whole staff at Clear Channel we hope for speedy recoveries for Trevor Vines and "Big Dis" John Distler. They both went down in practice so our thoughts are with you.

We are off to rainy California (San Diego, Calif) next week so if you're not doing anything hope to see you there. Could life be any better than a turtle neck sweater?
I think not!"
